Billing & Plans
Metric Might uses Stripe to securely handle all payments, subscription management, and invoicing. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
Here is everything you need to know about how your trial, subscription, and invoices work.
The 14-Day Free Trial
Every new Metric Might account automatically starts with a 14-day free trial of the Agency Plan.
- You do not need to enter a credit card to start your trial.
- You get unlimited ad accounts, unlimited team members, and hourly scheduled refreshes for the full 14 days.
What happens when the trial ends without upgrading? If the trial expires without a paid plan, your project is automatically downgraded to the Free Plan:
- All ad accounts except one are disabled.
- All extra team members lose access.
- All scheduled refreshes are paused.
- Your data is safe: query configurations and account connections are never deleted. Upgrading at any point restores everything immediately.
Upgrading to a Paid Plan
You can secure your paid subscription at any time during your trial to ensure your automated reports don’t break when it ends.
Go to Project Settings and select either the Solo or Agency plan.
Billing frequency: Both plans are available monthly or yearly. Paying yearly saves you 20% compared to monthly billing.
When will I be charged?
- If you upgrade with more than 48 hours left in your trial: You will not be charged today. Your billing cycle starts exactly when your 14-day trial ends.
- If you upgrade with less than 48 hours left in your trial: Your card will be charged immediately and your billing cycle begins from that date.
Managing Your Subscription & Invoices
You have complete, self-serve control over your billing. You never need to email support to cancel or downgrade.
From the Project Settings page, you can view your current subscription status or click Manage Billing to open your secure Stripe Billing Portal.
Inside the Stripe Portal, you can:
- Update your payment method or credit card details.
- View and download past invoices and receipts for your accounting team.
- Switch between monthly and yearly billing.
- Downgrade to a lower tier.
- Cancel your subscription entirely.
Failed Payments & Past Due Invoices
If your credit card expires or a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry the charge over the next few days.
If the invoice remains past due, your project is temporarily downgraded to the Free Plan limits:
- All ad accounts except one are disabled.
- All extra team members lose access.
- Automated background refreshes are paused.
- Your data is safe: We never delete your query configurations or account connections.
As soon as you update your payment method and the invoice clears, your full Solo or Agency access is restored immediately.
